Volunteer

Want to join our efforts but not sure where to start? Volunteer opportunities abound and every little bit counts towards paving the path for a better tomorrow.
On-site volunteers will be required to attend volunteer orientation and will receive a volunteer handbook. Currently, we are only able to accept volunteers age 18+.
Volunteering Opportunities
Volunteers are the heart and soul of every non profit organization. Without them there would be no success stories. Renegade Paws Rescue believes that they should be treated as the precious souls that they are.
Rescue means you give your time and energy, along with tears and rejoicing, which takes very special people.

There are many ways to volunteer, large and small, long term and short, ongoing or singular.
It takes a village to assist an animal from rescued to adopted.

Advocate program: Become a shelter dog's lifeline
Renegade Paws Rescue has an "Advocate" program where volunteers can choose a dog in our shelter who is waiting for a foster home. The advocate takes is responsible for taking the dog out for walks, taking them on adventures and advertising the dog on social media and in our private social media pages. Once their "advocate dog" gets into a foster home or gets adopted, the volunteer simply chooses another! It gives the dogs a little boost while they wait for a more permanent place to call home.

I volunteer because the smallest actions have huge impacts. We believe strongly in Renegade’s mission, and although we cannot foster, we can still make a difference in the life of a dog who just needs a kennel cleaned, a water dish filled, a walk in the park or a sweet treat.
- Charlotte, Renegade Volunteer

I volunteer because I can’t foster currently. But I put my heart & soul into everything I do for Renegade because I know I’m making a difference. No matter how small. This is a picture of Liberty, a husky I recently helped transport. This is why I volunteer
